Nicole Jaquis has been photographing in India since 2001, specifically the Maha Kumbh Mela, where she was the associate Producer on Projectile Artsí first feature length documentary film, ěTake Me to the Riverî. It was in Ujjain 2004, where she began photographing the Sadhvis (woman ascetics) of Juna Akhara at the same time she was training the Nagas (naked male ascetics) to use her camera equipment.
She has been back in New york since the July 2004, freelancing as a web designer, video editor and live video mixer/performer. For the past year and a half Nicole has been co-running a multimedia after-school program for teens in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, called Hook Productions, teaching video production and new media.
Her photographs and videos have been exhibited and published throughout New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston as well as India.
DeWitt Davis, hailing from Virginia, has been practicing photography and film-making for the past 15 years. With a degree in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College, DeWitt has lived, studied, and worked globally, including in China, Australia, and Senegal. While in Senegal, he filmed the short documentary "Sooda Manga Fi", examining the personal challenges and transformations of his older sister Sarah, during her five year stint in the Peace Corps.
During the past five years working with the Brooklyn, NY based non-profit, Projectile Arts, he was the Post Production Supervisor for their first feature length Kumbh Mela documentary, "Take Me to the River", and has served as a chief technical director for many other Projectile projects. DeWitt has also worked on numerous independent feature films in New York and Los Angeles such as: "Love, Ludlow", "Game Six" (starring Micheal Keaton and Bebe Neuwirth), and Greg Araki's "Nowhere". Currently he is a Motion Picture Technician for Eastman Kodak Company.
This will be DeWitt's first Kumbh Mela and he is excited to experience first hand the festival that birth Projectile Arts and this project.

Jessica Windt is an emerging documentary filmmaker with her eyes wide open to new experiences. She lived in South Korea for the past year assisting as a production manager for a documentary film about international adoption from Korea, Resilience. After graduating from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Journalism and Psychology in 2004, Jessica was production coordinator for a non-profit art organization, Projectile Arts in Brooklyn, NY. Jessica has also had the privilege of working with acclaimed filmmakers, such as Academy Award nominee, Roger Weisberg ( Sound and Fury, 2000). She is very excited for her next collaboration working with this project.
