This is not a zoo! – meaning, although these ascetics may appear exotic to the outsider, but it’s only fair to take their photograph if you actually give them a copy. If you have photographs of any members of Juna Akhara, please send high res. files to awc AT relativelylocal.com – we’ll be glad to print the images, track down the ascetic and give the print away.
Through both monetary and in kind donations we have been able to provide 100s of ascetics with digital prints. These prints are a mix of photos taken of them, as well as photos they shot themselves (all shot using digital cameras). All prints are given away (free of cost to the receiver).
