Hello,
My Gurudev, Swami Paramanand Mahamendeleshwar Yug Puresh Marhariji
will be hosting Kumbha Mela for foreigners in Haridwar in 2010. This wonderful man (as many others) often travel around the world to teach the philosophy of the Vedanta.
My friend Valerieji from Asheville, NC who has lived in India for the last 5 years, is one of Gurudev’s most devoted diciples.
Although Swami Paramanand(well he says they are not his so let’s say the organization) has 40 ashrams, 17 hospitals, 17 girls colleges in remote areas and has recently opend a university for americans and other foreigners to understand the Vedanta.
Swami’s ashram in Haridwar will be hosting us (i think there are around 18 coming so far)from us, and europe, and australia.
Valerieji is very involved in the Kumbha Mela and she presently is having thousands of non plastic bags printed up and distributing them to the shop owners in Haridwar. The bags promote non use of disposable plastic bags and are reusable. the shop owners have agreed to distibute these bags with Hindi on one side and English on the other to promote recycling.
I am very honoured to be in such a position where i am able to attend.
Your documentary is fabulous.
thanx. bridgett
Absolutely brilliant. Loved it, really loved it. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you for the translation which gave me an insight into a deeper level of understanding. Totally was mesmorised and what a great project you have embarked upon. I have seen you many times and thank you for giving me your link to actually see the work you are doing. Absolutely wonderful. Loved the way it has been produced incorporating everyone who is a part of its making – excellent and it shows in the interesting way you have approached it. Loved the production, editing, music, all of it. Many adjectives to say how brilliant this project is and to say to you Bagwan aapke balagari! You have left a smile on my face – great work!
