Identical? Fraternal? is the first autobiographical piece Nicole has created. Exhibited at the MIX21 New York Queer Experimental Film Festival as a three channel video / photography installation using archival (super8 and VHS) footage from their childhood and still photographs as adults, it explores the fraternal gender identities of an set identical twins (the artist and her sister). This 6 min festival cut screened at Outpost Lounge in BedStuy Brooklyn event “Queer Films Under the Stars” in September 2009.
